The free week
Nothing to prove. Nothing to be nervous about.
Walking into a CrossFit gym for the first time is the hardest part of the whole thing. So your first full week with us is free — long enough to stop feeling like a stranger.
A full week on us
Come train in real classes for a week, coached start to finish, on any times that fit your schedule. Tell us what you're working toward — strength, conditioning, getting back after a long break — and we'll point you at the right starting place. One class tells you very little. A week tells you everything.

Programs
Five ways to train with us
One membership, one community, several front doors. Most members start with Foundations or group class and add the rest as they get curious.
-
Core offering
CrossFit Group Classes
Our daily hour: warm-up, skill or strength work, then the workout of the day. Coached start to finish and scaled for every body in the room.
-
Start here
Foundations / On-Ramp
A short beginner track that teaches the movements, the language and the pacing before you jump into the group. Built for total beginners.
-
Engine
Endurance & Conditioning
Rowing, biking, running and interval work to build the aerobic base that makes everything else in the gym feel easier.
-
Your own time
24/7 Gym & Recovery
Every membership includes round-the-clock access to the floor and the recovery area — work on skills, finish a lift, or follow your own program on your schedule.
-
One-on-one
Personal Training
Private coaching for a specific goal, a nagging limitation, or a schedule that won't bend around class times. Book solo or as a pair.
You don't pick a program on day one. You show up, get coached, and the right progression finds you.
New members start in group class with a coach watching every rep. As you get stronger, the weights and skills open up — heavier barbells, gymnastics progressions, and 24/7 access to train on your own time.
Hard, not intimidating
The workout is supposed to be hard. Getting started isn't.
“Intensity is relative. Yours will look different from the person next to you, and that's exactly how the program is designed.”The coaching staff · Ancient City CrossFit

Inside the gym
This is what an hour here looks like
Coached classes, barbells, engine work, and a room full of people pulling in the same direction. No mirrors-and-headphones energy.

Members
The part nobody expects to like most
People come in for the workout and stay for the 6 AM group text. Here's what that sounds like.
“I hadn't exercised in nine years and I was sure I'd be the slowest person there. I was — for about two weeks. Nobody cared, and the coach scaled everything without making it a thing.”
“I travel for work and I've dropped into gyms in six states. This is the only one where three people learned my name before I finished the warm-up.”
“The 6 AM class means I'm done before my kids wake up. Two years ago I couldn't do a push-up; last month I deadlifted 225. Same knees, same back, better coaching.”
Questions
The things people ask before their first class
I'm not in shape — can I do CrossFit?
Yes, and that's who this gym is built for. CrossFit is a template, not a fitness requirement: the same workout gets loaded, shortened or swapped to match whoever is doing it. Plenty of our members hadn't trained in years when they walked in. Being out of shape is a reason to start, not a reason to wait.
What should I bring?
Athletic shoes, comfortable clothes you can move in, a water bottle and a towel. That's it. You don't need lifting shoes, a weight belt, tape or gloves — and please don't buy any of that before your first month.
Do I need to be an athlete?
No. Most of our members are working adults, parents and retirees, not competitors. If you played sports twenty years ago, great; if you never did, also great. The coaching is the same either way.
How long are classes?
One hour, door to door. That includes the warm-up, the day's skill or strength work, the workout itself and a cool-down. Foundations sessions run about 45 minutes.
Do you scale workouts?
Every single day, for everyone. Scaling isn't the beginner version of the workout — it's how the workout is meant to be delivered. Weights, reps, ranges of motion and movement choices all get adjusted so the intended effect stays the same.
Is there parking?
Yes — free parking on site at 1947 A1A South, Suite D, with room for bikes as well. Even at the busiest evening classes you shouldn't be circling the lot.
Do you offer drop-ins for visitors?
Absolutely — visitors and seasonal residents are welcome any week of the year. Drop-ins are $25 a class, or $180 for a 10-class punch pack with no expiry, and it helps if you message us the day before so the coach can plan for you. The free week is for locals who are looking for a gym home, so if you're here on vacation, the drop-in rate is your best bet.
